I've been reflecting on my values, and the values that founded A.Carey Events. As a company, our mission is to create unforgettable weddings that are tailored to each couple's vision and desires. Whether A.Carey Events is serving wedding clients in North Carolina, along the East Coast, or somewhere abroad, here are the values you will find when we work together:
1. COLLABORATION - This is a partnership! A.Carey Events believes in working with each couple, through the fun parts and hard times. I want to celebrate your accomplishments and be there to support you when you need it. Relying on each other requires trust, and I am honored to be a part of your wedding day.
2. HONESTY - I pride myself on being transparent. This come in many different ways, from vendor recommendations based on style or preferences or having real conversations with each couple about their budget. In communicating, I'm honest and upfront with you, plus all the businesses and individuals we come across during our planning process. All people involved are a part of the team and we will ensure that we are honest and kind through all interactions.
3. INCLUSION - Each person deserves to be seen and heard. I champion stories, love celebrating our differences, and believe in the diversity that we each bring. I have also worked for many years in the disability space, and pride myself on being able to recognize accommodations needed for accessibility. In addition, I ask for pronouns, to ensure we are reflecting our clients in communication. I want to be your ally and advocate!
4. PERSONALIZATION - Just as each couple is unique and has different experiences, each wedding should reflect and celebrate those qualities. While I have experience in planning different types of weddings (from a formal ballroom to a wooded celebration), I want your wedding to be yours and reflect your story. 5. SERVICE - I show up ready to serve you, your family and guests for an unforgettable experience. You should be a guest at your wedding, and the A.Carey Events team is there to support you!
